I have dubbed this J.Crew Factory top my “sunshine shirt” because every time I look at it, the bright color makes me instantly happy! So, I wanted to share it today because who couldn’t use a little sunshine on a Monday? Seriously though, I don’t even think pictures do this top justice. The colors, pattern, fit and flutter sleeves are all just so, so pretty. I styled it casual here but I have also worn it tucked into a pencil skirt with nude heels for a totally work-appropriate (yet still super cute) look.
These jeans… LOFT, you’ve done it again. I’ll take a pair in every wash, please! They are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn and the fit is great. I have a pretty hard time finding jeans that fit well, are the right length (I’m 5’4″ and I find myself constantly wanting to cuff my jeans), and don’t cost an arm & a leg (broke college student, y’all) but these are perfect. I know it’s hard to even THINK about jeans in the South right now because it is so darn hot outside, but you should get a pair… you will thank me later when you are comfy & cozy in these jeans, a sweater and your most loved broken-in pair of riding boots.
Another piece in this look that is definitely worth mentioning is my crossbody bag from Old Navy. I bought it last fall and I honestly thought it would be a seasonal bag, but I found myself continuously reaching for it all year round! It has two zipper compartments which I love (keeps my mess of lipsticks, receipts and cards semi-organized) and the strap is removable so it can also be worn as a clutch. It comes in several different colors, & since it doubles as a clutch AND a crossbody I definitely think it is a great basic bag to have in your stash.
My sandals are perfect for when you want something a little more than a flat but not a full-on, sky-high wedge or heel. They are really comfy (I even wore them to a concert) and the color goes with just about anything, so they have gotten a lot of love this summer. Plus they are currently on sale – so DUH! Grab a pair!!
