Merry Christmas Eve, everyone! I know y’all are so busy spending time with your loved ones (as you should be!) so I will try to keep this post more on the visual side than the chatty side. When my blogger bestie + design wizard Kassy (Kassy On Design) asked me to collab with her for a Christmas dinner party, my answer was a definite YES. Head to her blog to see her party post & get the details on the beautiful tableware. Special thanks to Kassy’s friends (and my new friends) Eddy and Elizabeth for their amazing photography skills. Extra special thanks to my boyfriend for making the cutest little pinterest-inspired candy cane place-card holders (cause my anxiety-filled, ZERO crafting ability self gave up after the first attempt). We all had so much fun putting this together!
We went for a very traditional theme with lots of plaid, red and gold, so I knew I wanted to keep my look very classic as well. I layered a red Banana Republic sweater over my scalloped J.Crew shift dress (I love how this dress can transform into a skirt so easily) and went with my KJP pearls to accessorize. This was my first time taking these kitten heels out for a spin and I would recommend them so much! I stayed on my feet all day long and they remained comfortable. The pattern is playful while still remaining conservative, which I love.
